Arthur received his AA degree (1964) and BA degree
(1976) from Freed Hardeman College and received his MAR from Harding
Graduate School in 1979. He has been a
Gospel preacher since 1965. He is married to the former Charlotte Holley. He has preached in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky,
Mississippi, and Tennessee and has served as an elder in Glencoe, Alabama
from 1997 - 2003.
Arthur has been a
Christian since he was 13 and has been raised in the church for all his
life. He has been on several
brotherhood lectureships and held meetings mostly in the Southeastern part of
the USA. He has also made five mission trips to the Ukraine between
1992 and 2000. He has taught and worked with the East Tennessee
School of Preaching for over 15 years. Arthur loves children and has
served on several Boards of Directors for the Maury Christian Camp and the
Teenage Christian Camp in TN plus with the Georgia Ann King Charity
Children's Home for neglected and abused children in Gadsden, AL. He
has also worked for four years in the prison ministry.
